The Minnesota Alliance on Crime hosts Brittany Anderson from the Department of Correction’s Victim Services and Restorative Justice Unit. The 90-minute webinar will focus on the Department of Corrections role in the civil commitment review process and how that intersects with predatory offender notifications. With recent changes to this unit it can be confusing who handles what and who to contact. This webinar will inform victim service professionals on post-conviction victim rights and prepare them to navigate the various systems that a victim encounters post-conviction.
