Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Implementation Plan Listening Session
What is the VAWA Implementation Plan?
- The VAWA Implementation Plan is a 4-year, statewide plan to address domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking.
- Each state and territory completes an implementation plan in order to be eligible to receive the VAWA Services, Training, Officers, Prosecution (STOP) formula grant.
- Minnesota’s plan will include challenges victims experience, goals for the state, a grant making strategy, and ways Minnesota addresses the VAWA statutory requirements.
How can you contribute to the VAWA Implementation Plan?
