Minnesota Criminal Legal Reforms: Pardons and Commutations
The newly created Clemency Review Commission (CRC) is now the first group to review and hear applications and requests for waivers. Previously, all applications went straight to the Board of Pardons after being processed by staff. Carli Stark, Executive Director of the CRC, along with Gretchen Weinrich, MAC’s Post-Conviction Advocacy Manager, will present on this new process and what it means for victims.
