Minnesota Criminal Legal Reforms: Community Supervision Reform
The Community Supervision Advisory Committee (CSAC) was created in 2023 and tasked with the goal of improving community supervision in Minnesota by providing the Commissioner of Corrections written recommendations for statewide standards for probation, supervised release, and community supervision. That report was submitted in December 2024, and co-chair Kelly Mitchell and committee member Becca Muskat will present on those recommendations and the ongoing work of CSAC.
