Description: Conflict at work, especially when it is related to values or beliefs, can feel insurmountably big. In this applied workshop, we will focus on how to use the skill of accountability for healthy occupational identity management. Using a variety of self-reflection and group activities, participants will enhance their skills in naming their role in OI-related conflicts, working through values-based conflicts towards positive outcomes, and review strategies of containment to promote a healthy connection to work.
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify areas of greatest susceptibility to OI and values-based conflicts at work;
- Strengthen accountability skills through 45 minutes of applied practice;
- Practice providing feedback to peers for accountability and greater OI health.
